What determines the price of furniture moving in Egypt?

There is no single price for furniture moving because every move is different. These are the factors that affect the price, and what we need from you to set it accurately before loading.

Amount and size of furnitureThe number, size and weight of the pieces decide the truck size, the number of workers and the loading time.

DistanceMoving within the same neighbourhood is different from moving between two cities or two governorates.

Floor and elevatorHigh floors without an elevator need more labour, and sometimes a crane.

Dismantling & assemblyBedrooms, kitchens and appliances (air conditioners, water heaters, chandeliers) need technicians and extra time.

WrappingProtecting glass and wood with bubble wrap, stretch film and cardboard is an extra service that lowers the risk of scratches.

TimingPeak days and holidays may need earlier booking.

Before you book

Agree the final price before loading, ask about the booking and guarantee terms, and record the condition of important pieces with photos. With us: prices start from EGP 1,200, the final price is set after inspection, and a 30% deposit confirms the booking with the rest paid after the move is completed.

How to compare two moving offers

Do not compare the number alone. Ask each company: is the price inclusive of dismantling, assembly and packing or not? How many workers and what truck size? Does it include the top floor and no elevator? And are there waiting or crane fees if conditions change? A cheaper offer without these details may become more expensive on moving day.

Things that change the price on moving day if they are not mentioned beforehand

Distance of the parking spotIf the truck will park far from the entrance, the carrying time increases and more labour is needed.

How to reduce the cost without affecting the safety of the furniture

Cut down what you do not need to move before the inspection, group small items in boxes in advance, book a date away from the peak as far as possible, and send clear photos of the furniture, the entrance and the staircase so we set the price accurately. Agreeing the details in writing before loading protects you and us from any dispute.
