Start with the compound or building management

Most compounds in the Fifth Settlement and New Cairo have gates and management offices that regulate the entry of vehicles and workers. Before the date, ask the management about:

Is a permit needed for the moving truck to enter? And what papers are required?
On which days and at what hours is moving allowed?
What is the largest truck size that can enter?
Can the service elevator be booked in the towers? It saves a lot of time and may remove the need for a crane.

Choosing the date

Moving between the Settlement and the rest of Cairo and Giza is affected by traffic on the roads leading to it. An early morning date is best, avoiding peak hours, holidays and the weekend if possible. The earlier you book, the wider your choice.
