Start with the essential pieces

The bed, wardrobe and bedding are prepared first so the child finds the room complete quickly in the new home.

Dismantling and wrapping

Our carpenters dismantle beds and wardrobes, and the screws and small parts are kept in bags labeled with the name of the piece and kept with it. We wrap edges and wooden surfaces in bubble wrap and stretch film.

Safety after assembly

Check the bed and wardrobes after assembly: the steadiness of the legs and screws, and any sharp edge or loose part. Fix tall wardrobes to the wall where possible.

Toys and belongings

Toys and books go in small sorted boxes, and the things that matter most to the child (a favorite toy, a blanket) you carry with you. See also how to pack furniture.
